Residents of the Southern Queensland Natural Resource Management (SQ NRM) region have until Friday 5 October to submit a logo design for the new organisation, with $10,000 up for grabs.

SQ NRM began operations on 1 July 2018 and is Australia’s newest governing body for natural resource management.

With a brief to involve the region’s residents in decision-making, the organisation is calling on locals to design a simple and unique logo which represents this community-led approach.

The competition closes at 5pm on Friday 5 October 2018, and will be judged the following week.
The entrant who submits the winning logo will receive $5,000 towards a nominated community natural resource management project. Two additional prizes of $3,000 and $2,000 are also available.

The new logo, and the winning project, will be revealed at a community event in Roma, prior to SQ NRM’s first General Meeting in late October (details to be advised).

A full competition brief, including terms and conditions, is available by emailing comms@sqnrm.com.au.
